When paddling, we feel that the balance has changed, there is more lateral tilting. The nose is a bit narrower but it has taken on curves, it looks like the XXS version of the NFA, it looks a little more buoyant and noserider than the 2021 model. On the take off, the entry into the wave seems more gradual and smoother than on the 2021 version, I had the impression that you need more downforce to pump as efficiently. Perhaps it is due to the rocker which seems a little more heavy?
In any case, it seemed to me that it is capable of turning even shorter at the bottom of the wave: the nose is not bulky and there is a big rocker under the feet. We feel an ability to go for turns that are quite improbable for a SUP of this length. One thing is certain, the efficiency of the tail is still there. For me it’s the best you can have under your feet, a real trigger to turn when you are all set!”
