FEEDBACK : Strutless V3 !!!

“As promised, my feedback on the Strutless 10mV3.
First I want to thank the efficiency for the service at GONG (thanks Fred), ordered at 11h and received the next day at 10h!!
A reminder, for a usage that’s 100% foil, fast cruising, 70kg, to replace an open celled kite that was lacking in versatility for my needs.
2 sessions, in mid range of the kites average (10/12 kts).
Once unwrapped I noticed how well it is built, it’s also pretty, red and white (quite a bit of mud at my spot), not thing say, nice bag, the Batten is installed and removed easily, all good.
In the air is super stable, doesn’t fall, no signs of unhinged in the lulls at the zenith.
On the foil, a good power base for starting up, which isn’t noticeable when you launch it, it accelerates very quickly, I was stunned by its performance. Quick turn, no change, the Kite remain compact and follows my lead. Incredible, because that was what the open celled Kite was lacking. Tight turn, the Kite turns on a dime and remains compact. Once launched she takes off fast and tends to be powerful in the gusts and it flaps when released. You need to play the line to keep her trimmed.
I laid her down to test the relaunch, no problems in those conditions.
No I need to test her in low range wind, but for the moment I’m convinced by her. AND after having seen two open celled kites down during my session, I’m telling myself I made the right choice.
