FEEDBACK: STAB FAST IN WING FOIL

If you want to boost your sensations in wing foiling you can for example switch to a stab dedicated to speed and glide. In our range the Stab Fast is ideal for those who want to adopt an extreme drive at high speed as François explains in his feedback.

“I rode the Fast 40 Stab, previously known as the kite Stab, instead of my Fluid 43 Stab with my Fluid XLS Front Wing. I tried this stab that many have in their quiver in a nice side/side-off waist-high session.

I feel like I’m taking off just a little earlier which is nice. I am clearly going faster, 22.5km/h on average today without forcing.

In the waves, there too, high speed.

I was really amazed. This stab accelerates hard, it’s crazy. It’s so fast that I could catch sections without ever pumping. The glide is phenomenal. The Fluid 43 does this very well, but here too, we are clearly at another level with the Fast 40.

On the bumps, it is obvious so much it glides and it carries.

On the other hand, and I’m sure of that after 2 hours of session, the Fast 40 goes so fast that I snowboard more than surf. I did big curves full throttle on the “rail”. But I can’t do sweeping arcs as with the Fluid 43 Stab. It pivots less and I need more room on the wave to turn. A matter of habit? Could be. This is the reason why I will try this stab again in a future wing session. But for the moment I find the Fluid more “surf” and the Fast more “snowboard”. ”
