Feedback from Pierre on our Facebook page after a first wing foiling session with his new Pro Fluid H set-up.
“I received my Fluid L-H set-up with Fluid H 45 Pro Stab. I am 87 kg and I tested it for the first time today with a 4m wing in 18 to 25 knots.
First impression, comparing with my Fluid XL 1500 cm, it goes upwind much more easily and quickly. The glide is about 30% better in freeride. The jibes, it took me 10 minutes to come to the same skill and speed in the turns.
The wing is very easy to ride and very buoyant even in low range.
As soon as you gain some speed, it lifts you very easily. What surprised me the most is that GONG managed to keep this wing, even in High Aspect, very playful and easy to turn with a wingspan of 102 cm. We must not forget the appreciable weight gain with the new fuselage and the stab in carbon. A real treat.
