New quiver of Neutra RH wings for Nicolas who broke an unpacking record to be in the water within 15 minutes of receiving his new gear! An enthusiasm that did not waver at the end of the session 🙂.
“So here we are, this is my first feedback after 2 sessions with the Neutra RH 4.5. My 2022 quiver was: Neutra 4/5, Superpower 6, a 3m was missing but in fact, as I was above 90kgs, it wasn’t really missing, and 3m is a mosquito and I don’t really like it… with my new year resolutions and the efforts that go with it I am today below 83kgs, fully equipped… so I reviewed my quiver choices and 2023 will be only Neutra RH: 3.5/4.5/5.5 So here they are, received yesterday at 4:45 p.m., I was in the water at 5 p.m. … first session yesterday in 4.5m in a very irregular and gusty wind between 15 and 35 knots, followed by another 3 hours today in somewhat equivalent conditions with my Lethal 4’4 of 45L and Ypra MS underfoot.
Very first impressions, I relive my past as a water skier having held a spreader bar all his life. You have the feeling of having a crowbar in your hands and that the handles make one with the rest of the wing. First jibes and tacks, we control the tack of the wing even better.
It’s super precise…
First jumps and wow, the feeling of flying while hanging from something very rigid that takes you up… One thing I was looking forward to is seeing the performance on the rotations, personally the only criticism I could make of the 2023 Neutra is the fact of not being able to move my rear hand far enough on the FS360s (on the V2 I was using the front handle). The rigid rear handle allows to reduce the gap between the 2 hands if you have small arms like me, and also, tacking the wing is done in a much more precise and powerful way…
There you go, can’t wait to test the 3.5 and 5.5 and continue to progress with these little gems! Thank you Patrice Guenole!”
