Feedback from François who had the opportunity to do a first session with the Neutra RH set with rigid handles

“I had a first session on the Neutra RH 4.5 in 23/29 knots, so with lots of power to get going. At first glance, it just looks rock solid… so much so that I didn’t take the time to check the tightness of the handles… it seemed so solid. Wind for the high range of the wing, and head-high waves and more on the bigger ones. Overall it behaves like a classic Neutra 2023 with soft handles, that’s the general picture… BUT:
The high end is awesome…
I found it very comfortable to sail, and the wing doesn’t move a bit… wow!!! Sure everything is more intense but what comfort! You don’t feel the gusts… the foil accelerates… but the wing doesn’t flinch… really cool. In addition, the front handle is great, and by playing with the position of the hand, you really gain comfort there too in its high range. I’m honestly super comfy with it. The wing seems even easier. The handling is very intuitive.
For jumps… the lift is a step above.
I had this feeling of lift… That being said we enjoyed an average 26 knots so it had to lift you and with the Ypra LS the pop is crazy. I am still just improving in jumps, even if I had 1 or 2 jumps with a very decent flight time ?.
In short, for me, the stability, precision, comfort of the wing and well-designed handles are a notch above the classic Neutra. So yes, I love it, the 200g extra is a detail, you don’t feel it in this type of wind… we’ll see how it feels in the low range but it should be fine? . A disadvantage? Folding the wing in its bag? Well no… the bag is bigger…. For the moment I can’t see any downside… feedback to be continued.”
