Marion, a new Ambassador here at GONG down in South Western France, has chosen a Neutra 2023 for her quiver.

I took one meter less than I would normally.? I have yet to explore all its possibilities (notably in freestyle) but here’s what my first impression :

Tight at the trailing edge with a notably rigid Wing in hand which is quite gratifying. Because the power is felt in my hands, although for my size a bit much = I need to adapt my habitual quiver and go smaller than usual, or use a harness.

The back handle is slightly further back than I’m used to using which made it hard to get back to after maneuvers but after few jibes it’s much nicer to have the two handles as it really lightens up the Wing!!!

It’s super stable in the waves, it’s really in the pocket behind you and doesn’t move.

The +’s :

– super stable in the waves -stronger at the take off and pumping -powerful when navigating = the power to launch bigger tricks is viscerally felt. My advice : Don not hesitate to take one full size or at least half smaller than what you normally would for smaller sized riders and/or navigate with a harness to exploit its full potential.
