Feedback from Coolas on our forum about the Mob Cool FSP Pro that he chose to surf tiny and soft waves.

The board is very stable, but the surprise came when catching my first waves: it really takes off on almost nothing, it’s impressive! The round nose pushes significantly less water than a square or diamond nose. You can lean on it without braking the board, it’s a real improvement! It took me a little time to adapt to the wide nose (I practically only surf the Alley, but even my Fatal is 5cm less at one foot off the nose). That is to say either knifing through the top of the wave with all the rail, or even do nose rides straight, or far enough from the curl to keep the nose clear. But you get the trick quickly. The board is very sound and … Cool! That is to say, you have to let it live under your feet, it picks up speed on its own, no need to force it. It has a classic behavior in surfing, unlike the One with its atypical rails which “freed” it from the water even at low speed. The Mob can be surfed healthily: we let it pick up speed, and with this speed, we have all the facets of a real surfboard available, including a great hold of the rail. Obviously you have to push a little more on the legs than with an Alley, Fatal or Karmen, the price of stability, but you never have a feeling of bulkiness. In short, an excellent board for small waves, a little less “crazy” and atypical than the One, but which in return has a surprising capacity to take waves and a very healthy and easy ride. And as a bonus, I think we can really have fun with nose rides on it.”
