FEEDBACK: V2 CARBON MAST
Feedback from Nicolas after a wing session with his new Allvator 100% Carbon V2 Mast which adapts to our Alu V2 Fuselage.
“Come on, unboxing is great, but the gear has to be tested on the water so that you can see what’s under the hood! Session in14 to 17knots with Neutra V2 5m, HIPE 4’8 48L, Veloce XL-T 1620, Stab Fast 45 and this little gem of a Carbon Mast in 85cm.
From the first takes we feel a clear difference with the V2 aluminum, not necessarily linked to its lower weight (600gr) nor to its rigidity which seems quite close to me but there is a real gap in terms of glide between the 2 … it flies, it’s fluid and really pleasant in terms of sensations …
The tapered fit is perfect, no play so it’s necessary to have a mallet for the end of the session. In conclusion I love it, once again … big thanks Patrice Guénolé ”
