FEEDBACK: LETHAL FSP PRO !!!

The uncompromising performance of the Lethal FSP PRO is not reserved for the pros or the light riders as Yohann explains to us in his feedback. Confirmed practitioner of 97 kg for 1m92, he got started with wing foil successively on the Zuma 6’6 and the Mint 5’0.

“First quick test of the Lethal 5’3″ 105L in a slightly sheltered bay with 15 to 28 knots on a 4m², close choppy water but not above knee height.

It’s narrow but the foil stabilizes well

I didn’t have as much trouble as expected: I got up on the first try, later in my session I only fell once while I was on my knees and once right after I got up. I only had these 2 falls after the wind suddenly turned and dropped a little. Easier than I expected, but I think I still would have struggled more than with the Mint if I had come straight from the Zuma 6’6.

Gliding on the water

The difference in sensations is clear compared to the Mint, it glides a lot more, I can’t say how low the wind was but I like the way it handled it, take-off can be done a lot more smoothly than with the Mint. It’s much easier to use a chop to glide and trigger the flight.

In the air I don’t feel the extra 3″ when pumping.

When surfing chop, the width is close to the Matata, so it’s nice ‘cause I’m in my usual size, no need to pay attention not to touch the water.

Touchdowns

The small touchdowns are particularly painless, the Lethal clearly brakes less than the Mint. I went down through choppy water once but it handled it very well. I didn’t have a stall and I didn’t jump in this session, so I can’t comment on the heavy contacts with the water. ”
