FEEDBACK: LETHAL FSP PRO 2026
A wave-riding wingboard that “ticks all the boxes”, according to Frédéric, GONG ambassador.
Wing foiler: Malo, GONG team rider, riding the Lethal FSP Pro, Neutra Boom (Perf Series), HM85 mast, Fluid front wing and Ypra Surf-Freestyle stab.
Lethal 2026 vs 2025
"[CRASH TEST] GONG Lethal 2026 – 5’2 / 80L – the toy that forgives (almost) nothing 😅
Alright… I gave in to the Lethal 2026 after having used the 2025 version intensively.
I weigh 87 kg, so yes, I like living dangerously on an 80L 😬 board and my Ypra Surf v3 920 cm².
Here’s what’s new:
-
New recessed deck → feels like the board hugs your feet like a comfy old slipper. 😍
-
Updated pad → no more soap under your toes, it grips hard!
-
Pro 2.0 straps → stiffer, more precise… you pull on them, they don’t move a hair (unlike your forearms after 2 hours of strong wind).
-
The shape is still super “glidey”… but a bit smoother.
On-water sensations
Takeoff: requires some leg power and pumping, but once it gets going… it’s a missile.🚀
In flight: the board is ultra-connected to the foil, pure joy.
Stability: still technical when stationary, but the concave deck helps a lot (less ‘yoga on board’ moments). 🧘
Carving / jumps: it’s game on! Stiff, lively, you feel like a good rider even when you’re average.
Surfing: smooth, long glide… the Lethal really lives up to its name. 😈”
Summary
Same DNA as the 2025, but with:
👉 more comfort,
👉 more control,
👉 and still that little thrill of ‘am I gonna land it or get launched into orbit?
Verdict from the 87 kg rider:
✅ A successful evolution—clearly more pleasant than the 2025.
❌ Still not magical in 8 knots (sorry, it’s not a SUP yoga board).
In short:
If you like boards that make you both smile and sweat, the Lethal 2026 ticks all the boxes. 🤙”
