Feedback of the Lemon 4’9 (80 liters) to read on our forum.
“A little feedback from a test yesterday afternoon of the Lemon in 4’9. I am currently sailing on a Mint 4’10 and I was before on a Lethal 5’1 with my close to 80 kg.
The board fits perfectly between the Mint and Lethal!
I was pleasantly surprised by the ease/gliding balance, it is of course not as easy as the Mint (taking into account the volume difference of course) on the knees or in pre flight sailing, but it remains much simpler than the Lethal when it comes to finding your balance point and more forgiveness for foot placement errors. It doesn’t have that feeling of “rolling” under the feet (or knees) in the chop.
Pre-flight glide and take-off are also halfway between the 2 boards. It moves a little faster (faster acceleration) than the Mint but does not come out of the water as quickly as the Lethal with its champagne cork effect.
Once in the air you can’t feel it underfoot, I was badly adjusted at the level of the foil (it wasn’t my set-up) and I was doing a lot of touchdowns. No worries of pearling though, the nose rebounds very well without loss of speed.
Pleasantly surprised of this quick test! I would like to test the 5’0 to be able to really compare with what I’m used to.”
