FEEDBACK: KITEBOARD 5'9 ALU FSP 2X !!!

Yann recently acquired himself a 5’9 Alu FSP 2X and shares with us his feelings about the Board:

“Hello,
I’ve received and tested the 5’9 2020 Alu. The finish is sublime. The weight measured with fins is 3.4 kg (600 gr less than my Lethal 5’9 PU) it’s beautiful and it looks very solid!
2 sessions with it. 1 with a good 20 knots gusting to 30 knots. The other with a 16-25 knots both in 9m. Spot with on shore wind.

The first impression is the ease, the margin of error is huge, you catch yourself doing transitions anyhow and it goes! The upwind ride is fantastic, the Board is super comfortable, it doesn’t get faded the chop. however, you have to use it with the weight more on the back foot than on the Lethal. I’ve been caught being pushed forward a few times.

In surfing the volume moreover it feels good in the mushy waves it helps well it allows linking waves well. it’s less radical than the Lethal but it remains very handy (always by loading a little on the back foot). You get into the fast curves and take a lot of angles, it’s fun!
