FEEDBACK: KITE UNIK 12M² !!!

Little feedback from L’Ours on the Unik 12m² thanks to a weekend that allowed him to test its entire range of use, from lightwind to well powered.

I often ride 9m² and less in Unik, and it had been a few months since I had ridden with the 12m² V2. But what a beauty !!!!!!!

I did two kite foil sessions this weekend, a very powered one with 15 kts and more (20), and one from 6 to 10 kts. Well, she’s fabulous in both cases.

In bulk, what I loved:

1 / Stability: the kite cannot be deformed.

2 / Power: it launches high in the air, it accelerates like crazy, it restarts in a second.

3 / Handling: not far from that of the 9m² of last year. Just bluffing.

Incidentally, relaunch is really easy. I gave a class that quickly turned into a relaunch lesson with the dying wind. It’s childishly simple, even in 8 knots.

What I really like is its compactness. It’s a little ball of nerves, super light and responsive.

Quite frankly, we have 98% of the performance of a 3-batten kite and the extra lightness. It’s crazy.
