A board that I deliberately chose a bit oversized for my size (1m66, 71kg).
It paddles very well. It’s super stable.
I can paddle back up to the peak and get past the waves paddling on my knees. This allows me to save my energy to catch waves. In surfing, the glide isn’t at the level of rigid one, but it’s quite ok, and the reassuring side of the inflatable (for yourself and for others) compensates by giving you the courage to commit to waves and turns. With an inflatable board in general, surfing is a little different, but we get used to it. For the use that I have, which is to do a bottom turn and follow the wave without doing huge maneuvers, it’s really good.
A go-anywhere board that will serve both as an initiation board for my wife, visiting guests, etc. and “all-purpose board” for me, either when it’s small, or when I don’t have the space to carry a rigid board.”
