Recently converted to Stand Up Paddling, Eric shares his first impressions of the new I-SUP Cruising.
SUPer: Moritz, GONG team rider, on the I-SUP Cruising.
Validation of a concept
“First purchase of GONG inflatable SUPs after a contrasting experience with another brand... I loved the concept but I understood that the shape was not suitable when I tried the SUP of our neighbors for the time of our vacation. So I immediately sold it on a second hand platform and replaced it with two I-SUP Cruising. Two because the whole family really liked the concept…”
Performance on the water
“My first impression on the water was how crazy stiff the board is. I do not regret having chosen the double skin technology. The difference is clear with what I had before. This translates into a much higher performance on water. No energy is lost and this shape with a nose that cuts through the chop and flies on the water. We had incredibly long outings without even realizing it. You can put a kid on the front without any problem. And they also had fun playing in the waves with the board. Me too… it takes off super easily on very small waves. In short, I’m really satisfied. Easy to store and thanks for putting wheels on the bag! ;)”
