FEEDBACK: HM MAST
- Wing

Tytouan gives us his first impressions of his HM mast used in wing foiling and dockstart.

I had the impression with these big front wings of having a kind of latency (a little but present) in committed turns, at the level of the mast … And now nothing, the turns are much healthier, and the pumping is more effective! It’s impressive because you immediately feel more confident to push hard!?
Wing foiling session today… Conditions between 30 and 40 knots approximately, it was violent! I was riding a Fluid MH + Stab Pro Fluid H38 + Mast HM85 + Wing 3m! A nice big swell (I chose the smallest waves of the day which for me were already very big).
Conclusion of the session: stunning. The Fluid MH has only one desire, turn, turn, turn and turn again, a little push, and hop I turned around, coupled with the new HM mast I had the impression of “having nothing under my feet” I had immediate response, no latency… And a feeling of confidence in surfing and transitions, once again really great!
The downside of the coin is that the upwind is necessarily less stable than on a Veloce type foil coupled with a larger stab, the H 38 stab is really very small… But ultimately what a pleasure in surfing. … Once again we are on a compromise that depends on what the rider is looking for, stability? The glide? Nervousness ? The low range? I’m thinking of ordering a Ypra MS to complete the quiver, for me it will be a front wing for big conditions, big swell, or racing when you want to go for a speed run with friends! ?? ”
