The evolution of your equipment also sets milestones in your progression, as Denis could notice after the purchase of his HM 85 mast.

“Here is my humble feedback after 3 sessions with my new HM85 mast. 3 sessions with the same gear, HIPE 5’5 / HM 85 Mat/ Fluid XL/ Fast 45 /Plus 5m 2023. I sailed on this new mast with the same material as I usually use with the Alu 85 v2 mast. I must admit that for the first few minutes I was thinking that I didn’t feel much of a difference.?

But in the end, I don’t really know how to explain it, but I feel much more comfortable in flight.

I find that I control the board better. The most incredible thing is that I made all my Jibes and the icing on the cake, my foot changes went great every signle time. I only made one out of 10 sessions and now it’s so easy. I do not know if it comes from the HM85 but it must surely come into play. When picking up speed compared to the Alu mast, I’m much more serene, it doesn’t move, the board flies, flies very quickly. I find that the board picks up speed faster. In the turns, it’s super handy, I have fun doing whatever’s on my mind with my board.?

And for me the best part is the jumps…

It really changes everything on the pop, which means that I take off much better than with the Alu mast. I jump way higher. I was really surprised with the first jumps, I love it!!!! I found what I was missing since stopping kitesurfing. And in landings, it does not move and I can relaunch immidiatly! In short, a killer for me, so happy. When I bought the HM at the shop with Antoine (the salesman), I told myself that for my level (beginner ++) it wasn’t really necessary and that I was not going to see the difference! It was just to spoil myself… So thank you very much Antoine for your advice because what is certain is that I will progress a lot with this mast and that the pleasure will only be multiplied!!
