Frédéric’s feedback after going on a trip with the HIPE Pro 5’1 as a replacement for his faithful Lethal 4’10 FSP Pro.

 

“3 years of wing foiling – 87kg – I usually ride the Lethal 85L 2023, Neutra 2023, and various foils. The HIPE Pro 2023 is great for traveling, of course (saves space, no risk of damage, no extra baggage fees). It looks awesome, inflates in 2 seconds, and is super durable.

It does 95% of what a rigid board does. I found it much easier to ride compared to my usual Lethal, despite being 10L smaller, 5cm narrower, and shorter. It’s plug and play, and the straps and pad are the same as the rigid board range. The carbon plate underneath perfectly transmits foot-to-foil feedback, and it’s priced amazingly compared to a rigid board. If you’re hesitating, go for it. There are no downsides, it works amazingly.”
