The accessibility of the HIPE First allows you to get the whole family and your friends into wing foiling. Namely on vacation or on weekends where its inflatable format allows you to slip it into an already loaded car. Feedback from Warrick who acquired it specially for his relatives.

“I decided to bring a HIPE First into the quiver to have as a “family and friends” board for others to try. Normally I ride a HIPE Pro 5’3 with 105L. I took the First in 135L and 5’11 and rode it for the first time today.

What a great board – very light! Narrow enough to speed up well, but the shape is really stable. I’ve not ridden strapless before, and actually really enjoyed the session with this board. No, it does not take off as easy as a HIPE Pro, but it is super easy at standstill and the take off is easy and smooth with no sensation of sticking.

I’m sure that I’ll ride this myself more than I intended to – for example, when it’s crazy choppy and I want to work on transitions, I’ll probably take the First. The value for performance is off the charts!”
