Feedback from Dmitry who’s now riding with the super light HIPE Diamond 2025.

This HIPE is 2.2 kg lighter
“Got a delivery from France yesterday — the GONG HIPE Diamond inflatable board, size 4’11”, 75 liters.
My weight: 67 kg + 3mm wetsuit.
Previously rode the GONG Lethal 5’1” (2023), 95 liters. You can clearly see in the photo how much narrower the HIPE is — just a 5 cm difference in length, but a totally different feel.
The HIPE is 2.2 kg lighter than the Lethal (with straps), and it shows.
Running the Fluid V3 S foil, mast positioned mid-track at mark 5.
Wind today: 12–14 knots.”
First impressions
“At 20” wide, the board feels super twitchy — you really need to stay sharp on your feet.
But then — just a touch of glide and you’re up!
The tail pad really works like a rear wing — takeoff is ridiculously easy!
The board feels super stiff, no bounce or flex — just solid control.
On landing after a jump, you get a clean rebound off the water, and the nose doesn’t dig in.
I’ve used HIPE First and HIPE Perf 2023 before — the evolution is obvious.
