Transition from the HIPE Pro to the versatile HIPE Diamond 5’6 which boosts takeoffs for Jeanse who shares his first impressions with us.

Long but compact
“Transitioning from the HIPE Pro 5’3 to the HIPE Diamond 5’6. I got lucky with the wind yesterday during lunch break, 15-20 knots, with a good swell. So I could finally test my new HIPE😁 .
It is really narrow 57cm (vs 67 for the HIPE Pro), therefore quite unstable in the swell. On the other hand, despite being longer, it still gives the impression of a very small board.”
Lightning fast takeoffs
“It feels like riding a wave board in windsurfing, as long as there is wind to lean on the wing, the stability is manageable even with strong chop.
Takeoff is lightning fast! The gain on this side is impressive, it takes off very smoothly whereas with the HIPE Pro you had to get going with a rebound of two on the water.
And the touchdowns are painless, you can go for more angle when surfing, without risk. Flying back over the swell and the chop is done without problems.
With that I tested the Veloce H44 stab which replaces my Fluid H42, what a glide! I surfed my best waves with it. In short, very happy with the evolution, I’ve been waiting for this shape for a long time, and it’s great!”
