FEEDBACK: HIPE CRUZADER

Winging in light wind conditions is now a different ball game with the HIPE Cruzader, says our team rider after spending a good part of his summer on the inflatable version of the Cruzader.

Average wind speed of 4 knots
“In the past, there were countless days when I’d arrive at the beach, look out at the water, and feel disheartened by the dismal conditions. The great lakes often offered flat waters and light winds, with several days passing before we experienced winds exceeding ten knots. However, this past summer, I had the chance to use the HIPE Cruzader Strapped at my local spot on Lake Ontario, creating memories of a summer in the city that I’ll never forget. When I paired this board with a foil setup featuring the Sirus XL 136 front wing, I took it for its inaugural ride and managed to lift the board in an average wind speed of 4 knots. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised.”
The game has been forever altered
“The advent of foils in windsports has significantly lowered the wind minimums, allowing enthusiasts to enjoy conditions they might have previously overlooked. With the introduction of windfoiling in windsurfing, comfortably planing at 10 knots was once the talk of the town, eliminating the need for 15 knots, large boards, and sails. This marked an exciting moment for windsurfing, yet our time on the water remained limited. However, with the introduction of new Wingfoiling equipment, I firmly believe the game has been forever altered. Flying above the water and having fun is no longer confined to the 10-knot threshold. Thanks to the GONG HIPE Cruzader, that number has been nearly halved!”
Low end performance that rivals its hard-board version
“In addition to its incredible low end performance that rivals its hard-board predecessor, the HIPE Cruzader is inflatable and can be transported easily in the included bag. You can conveniently toss it in the trunk, or carry it like a backpack when walking down to your spot. Now, whenever I head to the beach, regardless of the conditions, I’m stoked to hit the water.
With the new GONG HIPE Cruzader, the future of watersports is here!”
