I really love this key size, 7'0. The 2025 HIPE Cruzader is truly amazing with its significantly reduced nose inertia due to its lighter weight. That's a huge advantage because immediately after the flat-start take-off, you can easily increase pumping frequency, similar to a dock start, without exhausting yourself paddling hard.
Sure, I could've chosen a NOTW and gone with a smaller foil setup—it's true. But I love the concept of a single, indestructible, and foldable board that fits in a transport bag for both winging and flat-start foiling. I'm having fun my own way, without waves, as I feel that's probably beyond my level. And when the wind picks up a bit more, I just take out the wing!"
