FEEDBACK: HIPE 4β11
BackTesting a board whose volume is below your weight brings its share of surprises, when climbing on it of course but especially in flight π Here is a feedback by Gabriel who had the opportunity to test the HIPE 4β11, 70 liters for his 80 kg.
βI was able to test the HIPE 4β11 last weekend and I was really pleasantly surprised by this board!
I weigh 80 kg, intermediate level. The conditions were quite gusty from +/- 10 knots to 17/18 in the gusts. Fluid L and Curve 39 Stab under the board.
First of all, Iβm really surprised by the stability,
itβs super easy to find your balance on the tail. The hardest thing for me on the first couple of attempts was not to put too much pressure on the front foot when I got up so as not to sink my nose. Once I found the right technique, I was pleasantly surprised by the glide of the board and the ultra-fast take-off!
Once in the air it was great.
Itβs short and relatively narrow so itβs very playful! The touchdowns are harmless.
The spot was relatively flat but if Iβm not under powered, Iβm sure I wonβt struggle with it!
Really a big surpriseβ
