FEEDBACK: GONG SUP INFLATABLE HIPE !!!

In Wing Foil, reducing the size of the Board requires either a minimum of experience or a stable and an easy to access Board. This is the case of Ian, who went from a 6’6 Zuma to a 5’1 HIPE.

“I have had around 20 sessions on the Hipe 5’1 and think it’s superb!! I stepped down from a 6’6 Zuma after around 25 sessions and cannot notice it is an inflatable board.

I think it provides a beginner/intermediates access to a smaller board without spending too much money and to understand where they want to go with the sport. It pumps on foil easy, touch downs are good and catching the rails aren’t a problem. I have started to use the XLT foil with it and that has made me smile!!! My preference will be towards winging in waves rather than jumping and will at some stage change to a performance hardboard for this program.

I think the HIPE is brilliant and the innovation Gong shows is an inspiration!!”

good evening.
i’m a windsurfer and i tried last summer 5/6 times with a longboard with a 7m wing. i can stand on the table and, after more practice, i’d like to buy a wingfoil. i’m about 85 kg. and 184 cm high. i’m enterested by your sup hipe inflatable. do you think i start directly with a hipe or I must learn bifore with a zuma? dimensions of the table?
thanks
mauro
