FEEDBACK: GONG SUP 9'0 ZERO FSP PRO !!!

After surfing his 9’0 Zero FSP PRO for several sessions, Laurent-Claude shares with us his feelings on this very efficient modern SUP Longboard:

“Test of the GONG Zero Pro FSP 9′:

Test conditions on 6 different sessions from 30cm to 1m20 soft and hollow.

The Board is beautiful, perfect finish with FCS handle and quality pads. It’s a modern longboard shape with a constant rocker and very thin rails thanks to the domed deck. The hull is refined, with a nice spoon and then flat ending on a double concave with V on the back. A round pintail, rather sexy…

On the water the 9 Zero is stable and healthy when rowing, the passage over the bar is a formality and you can take off from far out. I was able to test the Board in 30cm to 1m20 soft and hollow waves. It works all the time! Its advanced master beam and its nice round pintail pre-defines performance for skills in bigger and hollow waves. Can’t wait to test it !

What surprised me is its speed if we hit it a little bit inside. It’s a Board that you have to make it live under your feet and it’s great !

It exploits all the sections of the wave, vertical rollers on the back foot, bottom turn full ball, round house cut back on the rail, without any loss of speed, reentry, etc … This Board is just crazy ! On the nose it is fast and quite stable. The hollow sections are easy to pass thanks to its speed and the acceleration is then dazzling to go hit the roller or the floater, it’s enjoyable !

The techno FSP Pro goes perfectly with the shape by bringing nervousness and dynamism.

It is the best 9 feet tested so far for me.”
