FEEDBACK : GONG Kite Unik !!!

“Hello,
First feedback after 3 sessions on the Unik 10,2 with my Fatal 5’2 underfoot. 3 session more or less light (the others in 11, 12, 13 or obviously in Foil), sessions where I wouldn’t have got gone out in last winter in 9m, at least I would have hesitated.
I took this Kite as a replacement for my 9m Strutless for Foiling but also to Surf with a bit more than a 9m- > complete program for Surfing in the light.
The first thing is the beauty of the Kite, no folds, no weird deformations. It’s clean and slender and has super qualities (which is what first marked me when I saw the 6’8 in action).
As far as behaviour is concerned she’s super clean with a good power base. She turns well with no surprises. In the mush, she backs up slightly before pulling ahead, I hope I won’t loose to much with rapport to the Strutless but I have gotten better navigating in the light so I should be ok.
You can feel that it would be a good do-it-all Kite for a lot of people, like me. I would definitely recommend it for people in a progression mode after seeing the facility and stability.
Need to test it in some wind that’s more established and in 8 its (for relaunch) lie with my previous Strutless 9m. I can’t wait to test it in Foil.
