FEEDBACK : GONG Kite Strutless V2 !!!

“I’ve been totally conquered by these formidable Kites!
Serious light wind, no stress, with comparison to open cell Kites, a navigation in Foil just as easy, the session will never turn in to a hassle, whereas an open celled Kites in the water are a Kitemare, juts maddening trying to get back to shore…The Strutless stays in the air just as easy and forgives your errors, in worst case scenarios.. she floats! Tested only on Foil. All the sizes : 6, 9, 12, 17m . These Kites fly in….. nothing! Like the Open Celled Kites they position in the zenith, vermeil to your head. Impressive, but without problems; unless hit by a massive lull or excessive and varied wind direction, the Kite stays in the air, extremely stable in very few knots! It’s mind-blowing in the bigger sizes. Coming off the open cells, I testify that in very light wind, the 12 and 17m fly at least as early as the others. Their power, even if inferior, is quite the same, without getting jerked around, a solid linear traction. In all the small winds, 3 to 8 knots, the 27m lines (or more) allow you to fly the Foil easier. In light to medium (12kts), finesse brings the pleasure in piloting (similar to an open celled) and very playful! You do what you want, even putting her in reverse, sometimes comes in handy. Once you get the taste for these bigger sizes, it’s logic to size into the smaller ones. Even in medium to stronger winds, the strong points for light wind in Strutless are not inevitable, the Kites function incredibly, with a depower in the gusts that are extremely assuring. What’s more, you can navigate early, even if you’re under Kited. I was able to navigate in 10 kts with the 6m! About the re-launch, I haven’t tried to much… because you really need to try and fall. I tried, on purpose, the relaunch in reverse, it works! It’s practical and fast! In conclusion, for my Foil navigational style, by using as little fabric as possible, I’m as about as happy and satisfied as one gets. I have zero regrets about getting rid of my open cells for these Strutless. Navigate early, have a playful pilotage, and a lot f security!!” Foiler : JC et ses GONG Kite Strutless V2.
