FEEDBACK : GONG Kite Freewave !!!

“Here’s my feedback after a good 15 sessions on my Freewave 9 & 6,8 in a little bit of everything type of conditions.
2 principale points from my point of view : – The hold in high wind range is excellent and even better than the V2 Strutwave, I was surprised that I was have fun without getting raked over the coals on the 6,8 in winds that clearly needed a 5m kite. I found it to be a huge plus but shouldn’t be abused, I always prefer having the right sized kite. – The ice is well balanced, no brisk movements if you don’t ask for them and just as easy no fly on land as in the water. I remember my biiiip (2011 : They have evolved I hope) that flew over my head in gusts. The drift in Foil season was excellent as well. For me it is a great versatile Kite to have in hand, for a beginner even up to an expert. It’s true the name Freewave makes you think more of Freestyle/Freeride but it is clearly the Freestyle I love (I use mostly in TT) and the Freeriidng is great when on a Foil in a bit stronger winds where it is great to.
