FEEDBACK: FRONT WING FLUID M

When used in wing foiling the smallest Fluid front wing is intended for light riders of a good level or for strong conditions. Our ambassador François, 85kg, couldn’t wait for the anemometer to exceed 20 knots to put his new gear in the water 😉 Here is his feedback.

“Wing received, weighed at 900g, it is superb. I tested it this morning in sloppy conditions, so it was just a session to see what it’s capable of. The wind was blowing at 15/19 knots full onshore and southerly. So no waves, just choppy crap… Too bad, Fluid M mounted with Stab Fluid 43, Lethal 5’1 and 5m Neutra.

You have to pump with the wing and not with the wing. ;-)? ? Yes, you have to pump with your arms, therefore, and not with the foil to take off … or very little otherwise it does not work. A little speed and off you go!

Once in the air it’s ????

The slightest gust turns into dazzling acceleration. I love it !! It no longer pulls in the arms. It just glides. Awesome.

I understand the jumpers because yes, with 900g it clearly makes you want to jump… Next step for me? It’s quite unstable for a beginner or intermediate level. It just takes speed, my kite foiler experience helps me a lot and all my tacks go easy despite the sloppy conditions.

It surfs on the spot, it turns on the spot.

I can’t find the bounce in pumping compared to other buddy wings that I have tried in the same or almost the same sizes but it still pumps on the bumps.

It also relaunches really well at the end of the curves. I am amazed by the lift. In short, thank you to those who advised me the Fluid M on the GONG Galaxy Facebook group. Great sessions to come!
