Astonishing stability

“Feedback of the Droid UPE 5.5 in its medium to high range. I got on the water with 14/16 knots. I had a set-up made of the Curve MH and Fluid H38, this combo is very nice and the glide is perfect. The Droid in these conditions is really great. Its reduced wingspan for its size, its power and its stability are exemplary. I had so much fun yesterday. I could sail with both hands behind my back for hundreds of meters with the wing sliding in the wind with astonishing stability. Leaning back into the harness, the wing does not move and continues to tow you quietly. Bluffing…”

My best jumps

“The wind got up to between 18 and 22, which corresponds to the high range of this Wing surface. Well, it didn’t matter. It was still balanced… It didn’t flinch. I must say that without a harness it would be hard on the arms in my opinion… On the other hand, using a harness, the session was still awesome in the high range. Now I really get how the pros can send sky high. The difference is massive. It’s a real rocket that just wants to take off… I did my best jumps yesterday with lift, and a really good landing quality. By sheeting in with the back hand, you feel this “hang-time” effect.”

A very well designed wing

“For transitions, even in the high range, I had no problem. The tacks were super easy and no flapping whatsoever of the trailing edge. As for upwind heading and the speed, no problem either, it flies upwind. It’s quite simply a very well designed wing ✔️👌🏼 It is quite a model!”
