If you want TLDR kind of feedback about the new Droid UPE, Tomer offers us two variants of it. He summed it up in a single word and added some subtlety with a second word on our Facebook group 😉 For the more elaborated version, you can also read his full feedback here

So.. today I received the Droid 5.5m UPE. Holding it you can feel how light it is. Maybe like a 4m… then I got into the water.. two three pumps and it’s on!

The wing is impulsive.

You feel every small gust and need to compensate but the pulling feeling is amazing! Nothing moves, no sound from the wing.. When I go for a tack.. getting closer to the wind source.. I feel the wind pushing on me.. the noise.. I put my front hand above and to the side of my head.. make half a turn.. reach to the back handle.. and then this wonderful sound: CLANCK!! The wing is engaged again and I go on with a smile on my face! Amazing! When on a wave you don’t feel it. It’s so light! I hold it by the neutral handle, then the front pistol grip, move it from hand to hand, backside to front side, the wing follows.. so much harmony! No drag whatsoever!

This wing pushes the laws of aerodynamics to the edge and allows you to do almost whatever you want and get away with it.

No wonder it’s a team favorite now in Pozo Izquierdo. The wing should be called Neutra plus. In my opinion it is better than the regular 2023 soft handles 5m Neutra that I have. You can say that this wing and fabric is like salt to food – it makes your foil and board shine and lets you unlock so much more from them by forgetting it’s even there.
