FEEDBACK: ANTI DRIFT SOLUTION

The Anti Drift Solution or ADS fin is present on our wing and SUP foiling boards dedicated to learning and progression. Thus the Lance, Zuma and HIPE in 6’5 and 7’5 benefit from this solution which greatly simplifies things in wing foiling by limiting pre-flight drift or in SUP foiling by reducing the row effect.

A major asset in SUP foiling when you know the extent of the row effect on small SUP foiling boards, whether it is simply when paddling or taking off, as Yohann explains to us on our forum.

“I can testify to the huge help this small fin on the front of the board brings: with my 90-100kg, I generally practice SUP on big boards of at least 135L. My shortest was a Mob 8’3.

I made a first attempt at SUP foiling on the Zuma 6’6 without ADS and I did not succeed at all! I turned in circles just fighting for balance. I quickly put the paddle away and continued to paddle lying on the board.

I made a second attempt with a Zuma 6’3 with ADS: the volume was really low compared to my habits but it went much much better!”
