FEEDBACK : CURVE

Going from a Curve L-T to the new Curve M, is a shift up in gears without losing the fun aspect we love about the Curve, easy, fast and reactive, as Tanguy could experience.

“Previous gear:
Curve L-T, 1450cm2 stab Curve L 300cm2 mast 85 alu, Mint board 105L 5′
New gear:
a Curve M 1000cm2, Pro Fluid H 42, 220cm2 stab, 85HM carbon mast and 5’4, 75L board.
Rider: 75kg
Here’s my feedback after three sessions: flat, 15/30 knots
It was insane!!
I don’t have enough experience or comparisons and vocabulary to give you a detailed description, but I’ll give it a go anyway.
Carving/roll is great, you can lean well in the curves without having to force it, a real pleasure.
Great acceleration when reaching and in the gusts!!
Nice top speed compared to my old Curve, well I don’t have the speedometer on my wrist but I could hold my ground to buddies on smaller foils than me and with more wing size.
Yaw at the top, better glide, I nailed all my tacks with much more ease.
Good glide, finesse. When pumping it is not bad, you have to push a little but it holds well (compared to the L-T). Very low stall speed! Like the L-T.
I rode until exhaustion, can’t wait to try it at sea in the waves and otherwise that’s about it.
Of course, a big thank you to the GONG team and community for all the advice, opinions, and work provided!
Special thanks to Anthony for the advice to make up my mind and place the order.”
