Raf tries out his new Cruzader Point FSP Pro 2025, with a narrower tail for even greater glide, and more volume in the nose for easier pumping and bouncing on the water.

Wingfoiler: Malo, GONG team rider, with a Cruzader Point FSP Pro and Droid UPE Aramid X.
Tuning and conditions with the new Cruzader Point
“First impressions with the Cruzader point 5'2“ x 20,5” 67 L 4,95 kg.
I'm very familiar with the 2024 version.
Rider 178 cm, 68 kg, 54 years old, experienced.
Side-off 10/15 gusty knots, flat.
Droid UPE Aramid X 5.5 m, Fluid H V3 L 1010 cm².
Straps set in the middle as on the previous version, flat rear on the 6 (vs. 7).
200 grams lighter, always welcome, the new model is thinner in width, the position of the straps inserts has been moved back about 5 cm, a little less for the foil rails, less volume in the tail as it's thinner and less thick (slight kicktail)."
Stability and take off
“The flat balance remains the same in terms of roll, with the centimeter lost in width being hardly noticeable. However, there's a noticeable difference along the longitudinal axis. With these adjustments and the reduced volume at the back, the tail sinks easily, much like a very short board, while the front stays much higher compared to the previous version. No more of the 2024's tendency to dig in, which required vigilance and adaptation when pumping. Although the nose is even thinner, the extra few centimeters provide better support. Combined with the kicktail, this makes the board easier to nose up. The glide also seems to have been improved (the narrower width?), and so the previously excellent take off has been made easier, even more efficient."
The feeling of a small board while flying
“In flight, I rediscovered all the qualities of the previous model: the feeling of a small board without the drawbacks (I've ridden a 4'6" sinker before), the nose is very, very thin, so there's no inertia in front, the board is very lively underfoot, and the narrowness works wonders when carving, there is no limit.
Special mention for the new pad, very comfortable and super-grippy, it should delight strapless enthusiasts.
In short, a great board, a nice upgrade, the performance of the old one with an optimized, easier take off! 😉”
