Feedback of Julien who tested the Cruzader in wing foiling in the marginal wind conditions of his home spot:
Wing foiler: Malo, GONG team rider, en Cruzader avec une wing Pulse Boom.“Here’s feedback of my first wing foiling session with the Cruzader FSP Pro XL 7’0.Wind was very light, 6 or 7 knots in gusts. I was sailing with 5.5m² wing, 1310 cm² foil (therefore very big foil), I weigh 62kg, and I was riding strapless.Huge difference with my Flint in this very light wind conditions, the board glides super well on the water, it picks up speed quickly and you can easily take off despite a very light wind. Which is great because I am not a pro when it comes to pumping with the wing. The narrow shape makes it easy to make the board pitch and pump on the foil.Regarding stability, on a waveless lake, I was not really bothered by the narrowness of the board. And in flight not bothered either by the length of the board in these light conditions. I tried a dead start with just a paddle…. never having done SUP before, so I did not expect much. I was right. The Cruzader will advantageously replace the Flint as there isn’t much wind where I live…”
