Our team rider Moritz is completely hooked on his new Cruzader Diamond FSP Pro he has been using intensively lately and for which he shares his first impressions.

A versatile board
“After several sessions with the Cruzader Diamond, I can confidently attest to its exceptional performance that is sure to captivate any water sports enthusiast! Whether you’re delving into light wind foiling, mastering flat water take-offs, or navigating radical SUP Downwinds, this board effortlessly excels in all conditions and disciplines.”
From diamond to pin tail
“The newly introduced diamond tail brings a remarkable boost to stability when the board is not flying. As you gather speed, only the lower section of the pin tail skims the water, providing an outstanding glide that allows you to take flight in minimal wind or speed, especially when paired with a paddle. The SCS System ensures quick and easy setup, saving you valuable minutes before hitting the water.”
Larger US-rail boxes and insert positions
“The strategically designed extra-large boxes prove to be invaluable, offering a wide array of options to fine-tune your board for various foil sports and disciplines. Numerous strap inserts provide maximum customization, allowing you to optimize performance across all water sports. I can hardly contain my excitement for my next session on the Cruzader Diamond!”
SUP foiling in the waves
“In SUP wave foiling, even in choppy waters, the stability of the 6’3″ board impressed me, coupled with excellent paddling speed for optimal wave positioning. Once on the foil, the board takes flight seamlessly. The pad technology ensures a fantastic grip and comfort when pumping back out to the impact zone. Touching down briefly after passing a swell or whitewater doesn’t disrupt the planing, enabling an immediate return to flight.
The overall surfing behavior is responsive and direct, yet forgiving. Mistakes are easily rectified by shifting weight to the front foot, allowing for a gentle touchdown and effortless repositioning to continue flying with the speed you’ve built up.”
On downwinders
“In downwind conditions, the board maintains its ease of take-off, comfort, and responsiveness during flight, forgiving any mistakes made. I consistently use the Curve H in size L. So a 1100cm2 foil size for both downwinders and small to medium waves.”
Wing foiling
“In light wind wing foiling, the Cruzader Diamond’s shape facilitates amazing glide, allowing the use of a smaller foil or wing than usual. It shines in open water carves or navigating swells with very light wind, offering a more secure experience compared to traditional boards. The Curve H S of 700cm2 is my go-to foil, and I may opt for a larger front foil size in borderline wind conditions.”
Flat water take-offs
“For flatwater take-offs, I switch between different Sirus dimensions, L or XL, based on my desired level of cardio exertion for the day. Whether I’m in the mood for a vigorous workout or a leisurely paddle, the Cruzader Diamond accommodates my preferences with unparalleled versatility.”
