Review of the Cruzader Diamond FSP Pro as a single board for both wing foiling and lowkite.

Wing foiler: Bastien, GONG team rider, on the Cruzader Diamond FSP Pro 2026 with a Droid Boom (Perf Series).

Choosing a single midlength board

“Before I had two boards. One conventional 85 L hard board and a HIPE Cruzader 7`6, first series for light wind. I have just started with the parawing and initially I just wanted to change the HIPE Cruzader for something lighter and easier. I asked here in the group and everybody recommended a single midlength board, which I finally bought.

I am 55 years old, my weight is 83 kg. In wingfoil I can jibe and tack most of the time and I live near the sea, so I can spend quite some time on the water.”

Stability and takeoff

“After some sessions with the Diamond I can say that it was a really good choice for me and I am really happy. It is quite easy, stable and flies really early. For wingfoil I wanted something that feels like my old board, but flies earlier. This is 100% the case. The take off in light wind is way easier, although I think that with the HIPE Cruzader it was even earlier (I suppose because of its size).

I don't know why, but it seems that the foot switches are easier. If I make smaller mistakes I can normally “rescue” it, which was not possible before.”

Wingfoil / lowkite versatility

“For parawinging it is really good as well, because it is stable and the easy take off helps a lot. It helps with the foot switches and when everything gets tangled it is comfortable to sit on and untangle and with really bad tangles it is fast to paddle back to the beach as well.

So if you are looking for a board for easy and comfortable winging and parawinging, this is a really good choice. I am really happy and the size is perfect for my weight and skill level.” - Thanks Gregor for your review on GONG Galaxy.
