“First session with my new GONG Galaxy Ayto 8m Aramid DP. Awesome.
In 30–40 knots, with my old kite from another brand, I used to max out between 12 and 13 meters high.
Today, during a gusty session in Normandy, I hit 16.1 meters. On flat water, no kicker.
We got caught in bad weather with 50 knots of wind. The kite held perfectly until I made it back to shore. It was intense, but I never felt in danger. No kite deformation at all.
Tomorrow, the wind drops to 20–25 knots. Perfect for a kiteloop test session 😁 !”
