Feedback of Alexandre on the Acidolly, our perfect mid length board to progress in surfing.

“I’ve got an Acidolly 7’4 since mid September and it’s awesome on the water! Rider: 184 cm ; Weight: approximately 70 kgs ; Level: between beginner and intermediate

When I got this board, I only had the basics of surfing: successful takeoff half the time… and that’s it. The understanding of spots and waves was already there with experience of bodyboarding and other gliding sports, but for surfing, it was almost nothing.

After almost three months with the Acidolly, I feel like I have made a lot of progress:

I always make my take offs when the wave isn’t too steep. When it is, it’s more complicated. The ease of the Acidolly helps me to use the whole face of the wave. I can’t say that I can do nice bottom turns and rollers, but there is a beginning of maneuvering and it’s really nice. For the often soft waves of my area, the Acidolly’s length and volume really are a great help to go on almost anything. The only limit is my arms when it’s too soft, and my level of take off when it’s too hollow ahah
