FEEDBACK : 9'0 MOODRIVE EPS !!!

“It’s my turn to give a little feedback on the Moodrive 9.0 EPS 58 cm wide that I have now had for about 3 months. I have been surfing for 25 years, I’m 45 yrs old, intermediate level, mainly in Gironde. Coming from the Shortboard, I wanted to get into Longboarding because, as I get older, I get stiffness and back pain sometimes; hence the difficulties with smaller Boards. After about thirty sessions I am very happy with the Moodrive and very pleasantly surprised. In fact it is very agile, reactive, and can be surfed like a Shortboard (I mounted it in 2+1). I tested it in waves from 50cm soft to 2m that are pumping. It is really at its best in the hollow waves, it grips well, gains speed, does not stall in late take off and it manoeuvres very well. It is very comfortable in big waves. I was also surprised in the small waves, where it probably does not work as well as other Longboards, but it allows you to have fun. I have trouble surfing it on the nose, but this is my problem ; I’m not used to cross stepping the Board yet… Here, to conclude, I would say that it is ideal when you’re coming off a Shortboard and in search of a responsive, agile Longboard that holds her own when it’s heavier.
