FEEDBACK : 7'11 and 8'4 Karmen PRO !!!

“It’s been several days now that I’ve been scoring sessions on a sweet little peak in Landes : A wave that jacks up brutally, tube sections that are super fast, then dies off rolling into the rip current.
I’m seriously having a blast on my Karmen, it’s real fabulous :
– Rowing speed for catching inconsistent peaks.
– A comfortable nose for getting down the face when taking off when it gets hollow, the Boards gentleness helps a lot.
– The finesse of its drive for negotiating faster sections, just under lip.
– Insane speed so you don’t get caught up on the inside.
– A sick roller attack because she has exceptional relaunch if you push hard off the bottom, so you can get your jollies off when the wave softens up and throw down some serious rollers.
I’d always been on the 7’11 105 L, and this morning, because of a little onshore wind I took the 8’4 120 L out for a spin, just to be sure…and I didn’t loose any performance. You can attack the bottom/roller almost in the same way. It was only for getting in the tube and the takes offs is where I felt the benefit of having -15 L.
