FEEDBACK : 6'8 Carter EPS !!!

“Hello Everybody.
I want to share my first feeling about my new 6’8 EPS Carter.
First of all it is gorgeous (so pretty I felt bad when I waxed her up). The finish is perfect, she looks solid and feels light in hand.
First test : 1m-1,5m in strong offshore dumper conditions. Mounted in 2+1.
Easy paddling (more so than my Catch 6’4), super easy take-off. Once I was up the Board took off without being pushed to and I had the feeling I had nothing underfoot, the turns were fluid and controlled.
Second test : 50cm, clean but super soft, and the same for my 6’4 Catch. Offshore wind, relatively strong. 2+1 mounting.
Paddling and take off super easy in spite of the wind and the soft waves. Once up I needed to get crouched as low as possible to not be affected by the wind, in spite of it I got quite a few waves. Even if it wasn’t sensation feeling wise but it did genie me reassurance on what it could do in bad conditions, she doesn’t need much to work well. Summary : 2 Sessions in less than perfect conditions but I am fully satisfied with my Carter, I had some serious nice slide sensations, fast and fluid and with lightness, and got a taste of the Boards potential. I hot to try her in thruster and single to see the difference. She perfectly compliments my 6’4 Catch because they have such different behaviours to choose from depending on how I’m feeling.
