From occasional windsurfing to wing foiling

“I bought this package this summer because I had long wanted to try wing foiling, but unfortunately, I was unable to participate in water sports for two and a half years due to a serious knee injury. Although I've been a pretty serious recreational windsurfer for around 20 years, I had no experience with foiling. I wanted equipment that would allow me to start foiling gradually and in a controlled manner, as I didn't want to risk re-injuring my knee. And I must admit, I got exactly that with this exceptional wing foil package!!”

Full equipment for easy beginnings

“First, I would like to praise the website, which is excellently made, as I got all the necessary information to purchase quality beginner's equipment—and let me emphasize that I am a complete novice to foiling without any prior experience! The equipment arrived in a very carefully packaged box, and everything was just as it should be. I spent one day with the wing on a SUP since it was my first time ever holding a wing. Regarding the Plus 5 m wing, I must say that it is extremely light in hand, stable, and very easy to use. The Lance 5’7 board (120 liters) is incredibly light and very stable underfoot (even when the wind completely dies, I can easily maintain my balance on the water—I weigh 85 kg). I was also pleasantly surprised by how quickly I got the board to plane; I didn't expect that, considering how short it is. As for the X-Over foil (XL), unfortunately, I can't compare it with other foils since I have no previous experience, but I can say that the foil behaves exactly as GONG advertises—it is stable, not too fast, predictable, and easy to control. It took me 7 days to confidently and controlledly fly in both directions, and I even managed to successfully complete my first jibes, which really surprised me. :)
