It's flat around here...
To sum it up, the thing that impresses me the most is the feeling of power in the hands once flying. I felt like I was riding in 20 knots though the wind was very light, it was pulling so strongly. Besides, for my weak little arms, I think I should use a harness with this wing! This is the first time that I have seen a wing generate so much power thanks to the apparent wind.
Gear for this test was the HIPE V1 5.3, Curve L-T and 70cm carbon mast.
Wind conditions: end of tramuntana at sea, full off shore and less than 8 knots on average I think. Gusts of 10 knots or more, but it’s very very difficult to measure the wind in these conditions. My only reference is that I could not have sailed (and I would not even have gone there) with my usual wing quiver. So impressive!”
