The Wing Tour 2023 allowed Jérôme to test the SuperPower 6m. Here is his first feedback in rather unfavorable conditions but when you have new gear to test… 😉

Wing foiler: Malo, GONG team rider, in SuperPower 2023 and Lemon FSP Pro.

As part of the Wing Tour, I received the 4 / 5 Neutra / 6 SuperPower yesterday and I was able to test them immediately. Light conditions (about 10 knots and inconsistent) in which I’m really not at my best. But I was confident (too much) so I inflated the 5. Usually I sail with a Neutra.

Right away, we can see that the 2023s are stiffer and tighter.

I really like the placement of the windows and the lightness of the wing! Great ?. The perceived quality of 2023 models and bags is on the rise! Well then there was no miracle… I was never able to take off ? because it was too light, technique to be perfected…

So I switched to the SuperPower 6m. The Law Drag System is quite simple to understand and to assemble, even without instructions. I had a SuperPower 6m when I first started wing foiling: here again, a gain in rigidity and lightness.

On the water you need only a minimum of air to feel the power of the wing. I think it’s still quite on/off, the reduced wingspan is very pleasant. The balance is necessarily different from the Neutra and I haven’t really had time to fully understand it, but nothing overwhelming.
