Some ideas for SUP trips using the itineraries suggested by tourist offices.

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is an ideal activity for discovering natural landscapes from a unique perspective. More and more tourist offices are highlighting their bodies of water and waterways by offering a variety of routes suited to both beginner and advanced SUPers, combining water fun with tourist exploration. Here are some must-try routes we've selected from across France.

1. The Thau Lagoon and the canals of Sète

Located in the Occitanie region of France, the Thau lagoon is an ideal spot for SUP enthusiasts. The calm waters and Mediterranean landscapes offer a peaceful experience. In Sète, you can also paddle along the canals that criss-cross the city, discovering its cultural heritage and colorful facades. 3. The Verdon Gorges via the Sainte-Croix Lake
