Aerial frontside

Take advantage of your speed to free your foil in the air! To perform a true air, you have to commit to that powerful part of the lip.

Surf foiler : Malo, team rider GONG, en Matata FSP Pro et foil set-up Fluid H Pro.
Do your first attempts on fairly flat waves though, helping yourself with a little pop of the foil if necessary. During the first attempts, adopt a rather “down-the-line” line to approach the top of the wave straight and in control over your board. The more comfortable you are, the more you will be able to cut the turns short like Malo does in his attack here.
Whether or not the landing is made in the disturbance of the whitewater, stalling or imbalance is waiting for you. Stay well on top of your board and regroup to optimize balance. Either you bounce with a frank recovery of the foil, or a recovery of speed thanks to the wave which pushes you and a small tail kick of the rear leg will be necessary to relaunch
