I-SUP Inflatable Race 14'0
Program
High tempo outings, training, downwinders and races on all waterscapes with a top of the range board!
Presentation
The I-SUPs are high-end boards created by Patrice Guénolé, a pioneering shaper in the world of Stand-Up Paddleboarding, and a team of passionate engineers.
The I-SUP Race is both fast and safe; ideal in rougher conditions or for intermediate level SUPers.
This comfortable and lightweight board allows for some intense physical training, also to develop a pro technique, and to achieve great performance in races. The perfect board for those weekend races!
It is much easier than the Flat Water, especially in the turns. Two widths are available to find the right size for your size and level!
And beyond racing, you can simply go on the water with friends to clear your head, without any hassle, without spending a fortune, without any risk of damage, without having to have extra space in your garage; so, you can just enjoy its fabulous glide. Zen & sporty.
With a superb design, the I-SUP Race is really a beautiful standup paddleboard at a record price and at the top of the range.
OUTLINE
With its narrow outline, this board is built for smooth glide while keeping a stable tail. The streamlined lines are designed to maximize paddling speed. The wide tail provides stability for course navigation, handles chop effortlessly, and lets you surf or downwind with ease. It’s the result of 30 years of fine-tuning thousands of templates, delivering exceptional and easy-to-use performance.
ROCKER
The low rocker design ensures maximum speed. When you want to pick up the pace, its sleek shape will accelerate effortlessly.
RIGID TAIL RAIL
The semi-rigid rails at the tail create a sharp edge that enhances handling and boosts water release, making the board faster and more responsive.
SQUARE TAIL
The square tail makes it easier to take off without losing balance when rounding buoys or pivoting in beach races. It’s forgiving of placement mistakes and varying water conditions. It also makes surf take-offs in downwind easier and provides excellent control for carving turns.
RAILS
The rails are round, as with all inflatable boards. But we’ve turned this natural shape into an advantage, allowing water to glide effortlessly over the board. No drag, just pure flow.
NOSE
The pointed nose is designed to cut through the water efficiently. It still provides buoyancy with enough width in front of the feet to maintain support during powerful paddling. In tougher conditions, its pinched shape allows for easy navigation through chop.

Buying guide
For whom?
This board’s shape is designed for experienced or athletic paddlers. It’s not difficult to handle, as the width is manageable and the tail makes turning smoother. In larger sizes, it’s almost "easy."
However, we wouldn’t recommend it for beginners, as it’s still a race board.
For what?
Designed to glide effortlessly, even in tough conditions, it performs well on any body of water, no matter the weather.
Fast paddling, training, sporty cruising, downwinding, surfing small, mellow waves, racing… This is what this board excels at.
What size for the I-SUP Race 14’?
Even though anything is possible, here we outline the main uses:
The 14’0 x 26’’ Race:
deal for sessions over an hour on relatively calm water.
In Downwind: It’s challenging but manageable with its wide tail.
Rider weight: Doesn’t matter as long as your skill level can handle this race shape.
The 14’0 x 29’’ Race:
Perfect for outings lasting over an hour on any body of water.
In Downwind: It performs great.
Rider weight: Doesn’t matter as long as your level can handle this race shape.
Understanding the GONG range?

What is the difference between our First range and I-SUP range?

Best quiver choice?
This board is perfect with a Carbon Mix 100% GONG Paddle cut to the right size or adjustable, and a top of the range fiberglass or carbon fin.
What length of paddle?
The way you paddle, your stance and the frequency at which you paddle will depend on your program. You will need a longer paddle for touring for multiple hours, while you would need a shorter paddle for surfing in order to facilitate quick and strong paddle strokes to catch a wave. Take your time to pick the right length/setting for your paddle, because it will help give you the stability and performance you will need.
Examples:
For a 100% surfing session, set your paddle between your waist and +10cm.
For more relaxed surfing, a +10cm paddle will be perfect.
For a ride, set your paddle between +10 and +20cm.

Which leash?
For the I-SUP Race range, a 10’ leash is the perfect choice. Depending on your needs and style, you can opt for a classic ankle or knee leash for a mix of cruising and surfing, or a coiled leash to minimize drag for a fully cruising-focused setup.
Check its condition before each session and change it every year. This is your life jacket.
Good to know :
Never leave your board in the sun, let alone an inflatable board which will heat up very quickly. You risk seeing it peel off because the materials it is made of become flexible in the heat. Never store it under a car window, or in contact with a heat source.
Never let your board get roughed up in the waves, especially when you’re close to the beach. You have to protect it from major strains. A wave that takes your board and rolls it can do damage.
Do not hold it by the leash indefinitely because it can give way under very high tension. Avoid big waves and don’t resist. If it breaks, it’s easy to change but annoying.
Stay away from oysters: this is one of the few seashells that can cut your board and sink it in seconds. Be careful +++
Don’t let your inflatable board rub on something for a long time. It can happen on a boat, for example, that your board moves with each wave and rubs for hours in the same place. The material will disintegrate because it will be as sanded. You will have a hole that will need to be covered with a patch.
Never put the board between the wave and you: risk of a broken nose type injury ;-)
Do not paddle far at sea with an offshore wind, and avoid windy outings as it is rarely fun and always dangerous. SUP is an activity that involves real risks, even in seemingly peaceful conditions. Always anticipate these risks and protect yourself.
